Do you want to give back to your community? Are you interested in shaping experiences at the Canton Public Library?
The Teen Leadership Council is a group of young people who want to take on a more active role in our library community. TLC makes book and informational displays, provides feedback on the direction of the Teen Space within the library, and even gets the chance to design and lead special programs.
Last year TLC designed and led multiple programs including a Holi celebration and The Land of Hats and Tails, an interactive kids' program for 62 Days of Summer. They also organized a supply drive with First Step, crafted fun activities involving Bubbles the Cat, and so much more. If you would like the chance to become a leader in the CPL community, fill out an application to join us for our 2024-2025 season.
Teens ages 14-18 can fill out an application for the Teen Leadership Council and return it to the Check Out Desk by Sunday, September 1, 2024. If selected, a parent or legal guardian must fill out the Minor Volunteer Release and Waiver of Liability.
