Bike riding weather is finally here, and if you want to make the most of it, make the library one of your most peddled-to destinations. We are located next to beautiful Heritage Park and have two bike racks out front where you can secure your bicycle while you visit.
What if you forget your bike lock, or make a spontaneous trip to the library? We’ve got you covered with bike locks available for checkout.
To borrow a bike lock, head to our Check Out Desk and talk to a staff member. They’ll scan your library card or ID and check out one of the locks we keep behind the desk onto your account. They will also write the lock’s combination on a slip of paper and give it to you. You can then go lock up your bike.
At the end of your visit, please make sure you return your lock to a staff member at the Check Out Desk. That way, they can check in the item so it is removed your account. If you don’t return the lock on the same day it’s borrowed, you will be charged the full replacement cost for the item.
