Have You Met Libby?

OverDrive is discontinuing the OverDrive app at the end of April 2023 and transitioning users to their Libby app.

All your loans, holds, and wish list items will be waiting for you in Libby when you add your library card.

These online resources can help you move from the older OverDrive app to the newer Libby app:

• Libby help: How-to videos and step-by-step instructions on Libby Help explain how to use the app.
• Virtual training: Users can sign up for a virtual training session hosted by team OverDrive.
• Options for Kindle Fire devices: Amazon has not yet accepted OverDrive’s submission of the Libby app to the Amazon Appstore so the OverDrive app will remain available for Kindle Fire users to download and access until further notice. Users with Kindle Fire devices can also sideload Libby manually following these steps.

Note: The library’s digital collection will still be available at the Metronet Library Consortium Overdrive website, accessible on desktops and devices. If your tablet is older and can’t support the Libby app, using this website is your best choice.
