It's already spooky season, and the winter holidays are just around the corner. Along with food, festivities and fun apparel, there’s also loads of holiday entertainment to be had.
With your Canton Public Library card, you can access all sorts of seasonal entertainment on hoopla. All you have to do is download the app or go to the website and register for an account to get started.
Our e-media platform, hoopla, has a massive collection of e-books, e-audiobooks, comics, music, movies and TV shows. It also has a Kids Mode, so if you want to set up a young person with some age-appropriate holiday entertainment, it’s just a matter of clicking a button and setting a PIN.
It allows for 20 checkouts per month, but if you take advantage of hoopla’s BingePass you can access entire collections of streaming content with just one borrow.
Here are some ideas of how you can use hoopla for the holidays:
- Listen to a spooky e-audiobook for Halloween.
- Put on some music for Diwali.
- Find a tasty Thanksgiving recipe in a cooking magazine.
- Read the kiddos a story about Hanukkah.
