are an exciting way to read and listen. Each Wonderbook is a print book with a self-contained audiobook player affixed to the front cover. Listen out loud through the external speaker, or plug in a pair of headphones. Wonderbooks are easy for even the youngest listeners—just touch the green button to power it on, then press the orange button to play the story.
After listening to the story, keep the fun going by switching the book to Learning Mode. With Learning Mode, listeners will:
- Access a narrator-led question-and-answer session.
- Develop reading comprehension and vocabulary skills.
- Feel encouraged to create dialogue with parents/caregivers about books.
The library offers a variety of Wonderbook titles, including picture books, leveled easy readers, early chapter books and nonfiction titles. Browse the collection using the library catalog, or ask a librarian where to find them in the Children’s Library.
