The Ranger’s Apprentice series by John Flanagan is a thrilling action and adventure-packed series featuring the travels of a young orphan named Will through the Araluen kingdom over 12 separate books.
One of the best parts of the books is that the characters are very well developed. For example, Will, the main character, grows from an orphan in the beginning of the series to full-fledged ranger at the end. In addition, the other characters that were in the beginning of the book are never forgotten throughout the series and develop with the main character until the end. The worldbuilding of this series gives it a really immersive and detailed feel while reading.
This series is filled with books that are page-turners that you can barely put down in addition to cliff hangers between books in the series. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys adventure or action books whether you are a middle schooler or a young adult.
